A. Information You Provide to Us
The App is primarily designed to process data locally on your device. However, strictly for the purpose of app functionality, we may access:
- Camera: The App requires access to your device’s camera to scan documents.
- Photo Library / Storage: The App requires access to your photo library to save scanned documents, import images for scanning, or save generated PDF files.
Crucially, the documents you scan and the text you extract are processed locally on your device. We do not upload your personal documents to our servers.
B. Automatically Collected Information
When you access or use our App, we may automatically collect certain valid information about your device and your use of the App, including:
- Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the App, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the App, such as the features you use and the time spent on the App.
2. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to help us improve the App, analyze usage, and provide monetization features. These third parties may collect information about you.
A. Advertising (AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. AdMob may use cookies and identifiers for mobile devices (including Android Advertising ID or Advertising Identifier for iOS) to serve personalized ads based on your interests.
B. Subscriptions & Purchases (RevenueCat)
We use RevenueCat to manage In-App Purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat collects purchase history and subscription status linked to an anonymous app user ID.
C. Text Recognition (Google ML Kit)
We use Google’s ML Kit for on-device Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This processing happens directly on your device, and the data is not sent to Google’s servers for text recognition purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App.
- Process your transactions and manage your subscriptions.
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with the App.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities.
- Personalize your experience and, if you have opted in, provide advertisements content or features that match your profile or interests.
4. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to help protect the security of your information. Since the core function of the App (document scanning) occurs locally, your sensitive document data remains under your control on your physical device.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 4. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we find that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.
